The foundry
An almost 200 year tradition
The foundry has been producing castings for a long time - even before the original Concordia was established in the year 1833, small shops were melting and processing metal for centuries. After the modernization of our moulding and melting technology in 2020, the foundry produces castings on our new location in Plešivec.

About us
Our region has a long history of ironmaking, metalcasting and engineering.
The Concordia ironworks was established in 1833 and produced pig iron in Štítnik and Kunová Teplica. Since 1962 the plant has been a part of the Slovak Magnesite Works (SMZ).
The company was founded in 2015 to continue the metallurgical and engineering tradition in the region. The goal of the current management is to continue the production of quality castings and to enter new markets due to progressive technologies.
Since 2021 the foundry has been operating in Plešivec.
The company's production program includes the production of castings from grey cast iron and other metals, the production of steel components and machining.
